Our Story
Flix FX is a full-service custom fabrication company in Los Angeles, specializing in design, fabrication, and special effects for the film, television, commercial, music, events, and retail industries. Because we believe that exceptional work starts with exceptional craft, every project — from concept to completion — is built entirely in-house at our 13,000-square-foot North Hollywood studio.
For more than 35 years, we have been the trusted fabrication partner for some of the most ambitious productions and brands in the entertainment and marketing industries. As a licensed and bonded California contractor, we bring the technical expertise, specialized equipment, and creative problem-solving that complex projects demand. Carpentry & Lamination
Custom woodwork, scenic flats, display structures, and laminated surfaces — our carpentry team handles both structural and finish-level work, producing clean, production-ready pieces for retail, events, and film.
High-End Finishing & Scenic Painting

Vacuforming

3D Printing

CAD Modeling & Design

Mold Making & Casting

LEDs & Electronics

Billboards & Signage

Sculpting
Our sculptors work in foam, clay, and mixed media to create organic forms, character pieces, and custom architectural elements that can’t be achieved with machine cutting alone. Sculpting is often the starting point for our most complex mold making and casting projects.
