Vacuum Forming or Thermoforming

a process of heating and stretching plastic over a form, then pulling a vacuum to make the plastic contour to the shape of the form. Once cooled you have a finished part that is ready to trim, assemble and paint. The process allows you to create a quick, low cost way to replicate plastic parts, big and small without the expense of molding and casting. The applications are almost endless. Visit our 3D Vacuprint page to take vacuum forming to the next level. See how you can pre-print the plastic for full color 3 dimensional panels.

Flix FX has six machines for custom forming shapes in Styrene, PETG, ABS, Kydex, PVC and Acrylic. Whether you need one part or thousands, we can fill your order. Our helpful staff will advise you on the best way to achieve great parts. Our largest machine handles specialty 5′ X 10′, we also have  4′ X 8′ and 4′ X 4′ machines in addition to smaller machines. You may hand us a mold or we can create it for you using our 5 Axis and 3 Axis CNC milling machines.
